I doodled this at work. I've never drawn Captain America before, and I didn't really read many Avenger stories or anything as a kid, so, I sort of forgot what his costume looked like from the chest down. But I thought he could sport a Texas belt buckle. It's not like he doesn't have 80 different costumes anyway.

I like the hand- one of my new pet peeves is when people draw hands without fingernails and they're supposed to automatically be gloved hands. I like actual drawn gloves.

Tomorrow, I post the doodle I did of Cap as a hairy luchador. And maybe a panel or something from the comic if I get enough of it done.

Quick scan. Working on the next page already.

Trying to juggle things around and manage time.

Also, I need to start actually writing things here instead of quick sentence fragments.

A doodle I did on the bottom of a page of layouts.

I haven't drawn Spiderman since I was in middle school. Maybe elementary. I need to do some real drawings of some costumes. I haven't really tried to draw any since I was a kid.

I think I'm getting better at this whole process in general. I've started to do all the brunt of the work while I lay the pages out.
I've gotten a lot better at thumbnailing and tiny gesture drawing- which helps out more than I used to think.

I've got about 10 pages ahead doodled out like this, so they should be pretty easy going.
